As a Technician ll under our Chemical Production Department, you will be responsible for all the routine and non-routine processes of chemical formulations (Lens formulation materials, in-process solutions, in-package saline solutions) Operations in our Tuas Plant.
• Work with saline solutions and mix compound ingredients for various formulations
• Perform maintenance on equipment like pumps, homogenizers, filter presses, and tablet compression machines
• Follow standard operating procedures to meet GMP standards and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with Good Practice (GXP) requirements by inspecting products, addressing deviations promptly, and maintaining documentation
• Stay current with field advances and apply agile problem-solving by testing, iterating, and refining solutions
• Participate in team projects to develop process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures
• Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
• Make minor decisions within task scope, requiring enhanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance in operationsAll associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.
Requirements
~1 min readAt least NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical and Life Sciences or equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or any other related manufacturing sectors.
Comfortable to be lifting heavy weights
Forklift Licence is an advantage
