Bilingual Operations Supervisor - 2nd Shift - English / Spanish

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM with additional OT and Saturdays as needed
Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $28-$32 hourly - depending on experience

A-Line is seeking an experienced bilingual Production Supervisor to oversee our 2nd shift industrial operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for employee supervision, safety compliance, production performance, training, and daily plant operations.

Lead Operations. Drive Production. Build Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 15-20 production employees
• Drive safety, accountability, and productivity throughout the shift
• Conduct employee training, onboarding, and performance coaching
• Assist with hiring and workforce development
• Serve as the primary after-hours supervisor and escalation point
• Monitor production goals and communicate results to management
• Complete daily production, safety, and labor reports
• Verify employee timekeeping and attendance records
• Ensure equipment, work areas, and operations are shut down properly at shift end
• Operate industrial equipment and assist production teams when needed, including forklifts, material handlers, yard trucks, and plasma cutting equipment
  

Qualifications

• Fluent in English & Spanish required 
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory, lead, or management experience in a manufacturing, industrial, recycling, fabrication, processing, construction, or heavy equipment environment
• Experience leading teams of 10+ employees
  
• Willing to work hands-on with team
