A-Line is looking for a Trailer Mechanic to maintain our fleet of flatbed and van trailers. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, and working closely with a peer, you’ll ensure trailers meet road safety standards and stay in top shape.
Starting Pay: $21 - $26 starting pay, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:45 am - 4:30 pm
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers to meet DOT requirements
- Repair and maintain brakes, electrical systems, suspensions, tires, and more
- Troubleshoot issues and document repairs
- Operate the yard truck to maneuver trailers in and out of the shop for repair
- Perform DOT inspections and repairs on trucks as needed
- Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with air brakes, electrical systems, and ABS systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication
- Valid Driver’s License (Class A CDL a plus)
- Must have own basic hand tools and storage
