Our platform is trusted by IT teams, enterprises, and service providers across industries to enable secure connectivity, operational efficiency, and visibility across distributed environments.

We’re looking for a highly motivated and resourceful Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive the top of the funnel by supporting outbound engagement alongside two Account Executives. This role focuses on sourcing, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers through personalized email outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and targeted cold calling.

You will play a critical role in expanding pipeline coverage, identifying new opportunities across target accounts, and booking high-quality introductory meetings for the sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound prospecting, is comfortable engaging technical stakeholders, and is confident initiating conversations across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

Identify, research, and build lists of high-quality target accounts aligned with RealVNC’s Ideal Customer Profile across industries such as enterprise IT, infrastructure, engineering, and operations.

Map organizational structures to find the right decision-makers (typically IT leaders, infrastructure teams, security stakeholders, and technical operators).

Execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, and phone to initiate conversations about secure remote access and device connectivity solutions.

Conduct light qualification to ensure prospects match priority use cases and deployment environments.

Collaborate closely with two Account Executives to execute outbound campaigns using their positioning and outreach strategy.

Send personalized outreach through email and LinkedIn using AE-aligned messaging.

Engage prospects through targeted cold calls when appropriate to help qualify opportunities and accelerate conversations.

Position RealVNC’s secure remote access platform clearly and confidently, handling common questions and objections.

Book intro meetings between qualified prospects and the Account Executive team.

Maintain strong conversion rates from outbound outreach → conversations → meetings.

Ensure clean and accurate CRM documentation, including prospect profiles, qualification insights, and engagement notes.

Partner closely with Account Executives to refine ICP targeting, prospecting filters, and outreach strategy.

Share market intelligence—customer pain points, competitive signals, and buyer feedback—to inform outbound messaging and pipeline development.

Collaborate with sales leadership to continuously improve outbound performance and engagement quality.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in an outbound BDR/SDR role, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology environments

Excellent written communication and outbound messaging skills

Comfortable engaging prospects via email, LinkedIn, and phone

Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo/ZoomInfo, or similar prospecting tools

Experience with cadence tools such as Salesloft, Outreach, HubSpot Sales Pro, or Lemlist

CRM proficiency (HubSpot or Salesforce)

Track record of exceeding activity and meeting-setting targets

Prior experience supporting Account Executives in account-based outbound strategies

Coachable with a strong bias for action
