The Learning Business Partner II – Employee Development leads the delivery of a comprehensive, blended new hire orientation experience designed to engage a high-performing workforce. This role supports employees from their first day through the initial six weeks of employment, ensuring a structured and impactful onboarding journey. Responsible for the design and execution of early-stage onboarding, including orientation, this position develops key touchpoints that foster engagement, accelerate productivity, and promote a seamless transition into the organization. The Learning Business Partner II also provides guidance to team members supporting onboarding initiatives, ensuring consistent, high-quality program delivery. In addition, this role contributes to the design, development, and facilitation of broader training programs to enhance overall new hire success and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities

- →Develop and execute an innovative and impactful onboarding experience and strategy to retain top talent
- →Manage the biweekly, on-site orientation experience, including content, resources, evaluations, KPIs, and compliance requirements for all new hires
- →Enhance, improve and own the new employee buddy program with a focus on ensuring employee adoption of the organizational culture during the first 6 weeks of employment
- →Provide leadership or assistance in design, development, and/or delivery of other essential organizational training when necessary to continue growth of the workforce
Collaboration
- →Collaborate with supervisors to develop new hire training plans
- →Partner with cross-functional teams (10+) to create, implement, and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new hires
- →Work with ODL (Organizational Development and Learning) team members to develop orientation facilitators, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of the dual-orientation experience and backup coverage for the role
- →Collaborate with ODL team members to deliver short- and long-term projects and strategic initiatives aligned to the department’s strategic framework, supporting the broader People Operations and Development division
Program Evaluation & Improvement
- →Regularly monitor key indicators to evaluate and improve the employee experience
- →Develop and evaluate success metrics to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights, and deliver quarterly reports to NEO stakeholders and leadership
Training Coordination
- →Maintain oversight of the orientation schedule and logistics
- →Partner with content owners and presenters to provide feedback and recommendations that drive a best-in-class orientation experience
Maintain Training Documentation
- →Develop and organize clear, structured, and accessible training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials to streamline and reflect current processes and procedures for both internal and external audiences
Communication
- →Lead onboarding communications, ensuring new hires, facilitators, and stakeholders receive clear, timely, and consistent information
- →Deliver clear, consistent communication to new hires, setting expectations and guiding them through the orientation experience
ODL Administration
- →When necessary, should be capable and comfortable helping with management of the ODL inbox, basic Learning Management System administration, and classroom setup
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience in a progressive training or teaching role, preferably in a business setting; including experience in organizing training events, assessing needs, counseling and evaluating sessions;

Master’s degree and four (3) years of experience in a progressive training or teaching role, preferably in a business setting; including experience in organizing training events, assessing needs, counseling and evaluating sessions.
- Knowledge of organizational development systems, theories, and practices, including accepted methods of measurement and assessment, and practices of leadership and organizational development.
- Advanced knowledge of cultural diversity issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to display sensitivity in interactions with various and diverse members of the staff and community
- Skills in problem-solving, mediation, conflict resolution and team building are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and present ideas effectively, either verbally or in written form
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and staff
- Ability to adapt and communicate information to a wide range of audiences and situations
$68,227-$86,990/Annually
Exact compensation will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, external market data and consideration of internal equity.
