Overview
 
The On-Premise Account Development Manager is responsible for driving growth across a set universe of key accounts, high-potential undersold accounts, and new accounts in the on-premise channel. This role is focused on expanding business in these three critical areas by presenting strategic pricing and marketing initiatives, using competitive insights to support account development, and gaining market share for key suppliers. Additional responsibilities include curating wine lists, cocktail menus, and organizing events to enhance account engagement and boost overall account performance.
  • Brand presentation/ Sell In
  • Developing and presenting pricing and marketing strategies, including competition, feedback from assigned Key & Underdeveloped accounts and ask for Wine Lists and Cocktail Menu’s along with events
  • Supplier Goal Obtainment
  • Specific brand placement and sales, expanding distribution and brand standards
  • Account Development
  • Securing advertising, tie-in sales, presentation of new items, profitable and promotional opportunities
  • Communication
  • E-mail information and correspondence with accounts, suppliers, and co-workers to develop sales and marketing strategies
  • Organization
  • Monthly requirements to work with top suppliers.  Must attend weekly sales meetings
  • Business review
  • Review of business monthly, quarterly, and yearly- by volume, revenue, ads, distribution, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous industry experience is required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Numbers aptitude is required
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, accurate order-taking
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness including follow-up and communications at all levels is a daily performance criterion
  • This position requires organization of your work and yourself, while setting and performing priorities using interpersonal skills, integrity, and innovation in a mix of customers, co-workers, and suppliers
