Allied Printing Services Inc. is a family-ran, full-service commercial and financial printer that’s been leading the industry since 1949. Now, we’re looking for skilled Cutter Operators to join our growing team.

The Machine Operator performs a variety of duties involving the setup, operation, and monitoring of automated production equipment in accordance with work instructions and quality standards. This role ensures efficient production output while maintaining safety, accuracy, and operational excellence within our print manufacturing facility.  

Responsibilities

  • Review production schedules, process procedures, and specifications to ensure proper sequential start-up and operation of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.

  • Set up and operate machinery according to work instructions and job requirements.

  • Perform machine adjustments to maintain quality standards and production efficiency.

  • Operate equipment at established productivity targets.

  • Adhere to quality assurance specifications and color standards; communicate any issues or variances to the Press Supervisor.

  • Perform routine cleaning and minor machine maintenance.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area throughout the shift.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.

  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow detailed work instructions.

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Desire to grow into a long-term manufacturing career.

  • Ability to stand for the entire shift.

Physical Requirements:
 Walking 20% | Standing 80%. Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 50 lbs. and more.

The Details:
Job Type: Full Time (Off shift only)
Shifts Available:  2nd Shift 4:00pm-12:00am (12% differential) & 3rd shift 12:00am-8:00am (15% differential)
