Allocator One Group is a global investing platform redefining how institutional capital reaches private markets. We operate through two synergistic businesses:
- Allocator One backs exceptional first- and second-time fund managers around the world—acting as “seed-investor + platform” for emerging VC funds.
- Infra One, our fund-ops and tech arm, provides the regulatory, administrative, and tech infrastructure that allows those new funds to scale rapidly and globally. We are already live and serving in the UK, US, Austria, Germany and other countries.
Together, we deliver both the capital and the structure fund managers need—and in doing so build a global ecosystem of platforms, people, and ideas that reshape private markets.
We are seeking a Conducting Officer (Risk Management) who understands that Risk in Venture Capital is a feature, not a bug. Most Risk Officers try to eliminate volatility. We need a builder who understands that in early-stage VC, volatility is where the alpha lives.
Your mission is to manage existential risk (liquidity, valuation, leverage) without killing the upside risk our GPs are chasing. You will be the "Four-Eyes" check to the Portfolio Management function, ensuring our speed never compromises our solvency.
- Oversee the AIFM’s valuation policies for illiquid assets (Venture Capital & Small Buyout).
- Implement and challenge IPEV guidelines in a way that is rigorous but realistic for pre-revenue startups—avoiding "theoretical" compliance in favor of actual risk assessment.
- Monitor liquidity profiles across our platform, structuring risk parameters for bridge facilities and leverage within buyout compartments.
- Design stress-test scenarios that actually mean something for a Venture Capital portfolio, moving beyond standard banking models.
- Report directly to the Board as the hierarchically independent Risk function.
- Act as the "No" vote when a deal structure puts the platform's license at risk—having the conviction to stop bad actors.
- Integrate risk monitoring into our proprietary tech stack to create real-time dashboards (killing the quarterly PDF report).
