Motivated individuals who aspire to obtain the CFP® designation and will be trained to help provide ongoing service and advice to our on-plan asset management clients under the supervision of a CFP®. This is a paid, part-time internship of $20/hr. We are open to a hybrid working schedule. Working hours are between 8:00am to 5:00pm with around 25 work hours per week. This is a summer intern program between May/June and August/September.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Cross trains with various departments of Allworth Financial to obtain knowledge of how our business model functions
- →Works closely with an Associate Advisor to develop skills and learn job duties
- →Helps create and implement financial plans for clients
- →Spend time assisting our Client Service Team.
- →Performs various tasks and research relating to casework and business operations
- →Under the supervision of a CFP®, responds to clients’ questions, directly or indirectly, regarding any qualified area of financial planning
- →Shadows Financial Advisor future and existing client appointments to gain advisory training
- →Attends company events, including workshops and seminars
Requirements

- In pursuit of CFP® designation
- Self-starter, with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication, team work, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrates ability to learn related financial and office programs and systems
