Chief Marketing Officer (Tech startup, 199x preferred)

ACG_3517_JOB Our client is an e-commerce technology company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm. Lead the overall marketing strategy and execution, ensuring all campaigns and initiatives are aligned with business growth objectives in a Tech environment. Develop and elevate brand positioning, driving consistent and impactful branding across all channels. Own the planning and execution of events (online & offline) to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales objectives. Build and expand strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, platforms, and ecosystems to unlock new growth opportunities. Collaborate closely with Sales and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in messaging, pipeline generation, and go-to-market execution. Establish and grow the in-house marketing team from scratch, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. Develop and manage a network of external agencies, vendors, and partners to support marketing initiatives effectively. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and positioning strategies. Contribute directly to business development efforts through marketing-driven initiatives and partnership channels. Own and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and measurable ROI. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Marketing, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a tech company. Strong experience in branding, event management, and partnership development. Proven track record in building and scaling marketing teams. Solid understanding of modern marketing channels, tools, and growth strategies in the tech ecosystem. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment. Good command of English for communication and documentation.
