Carrying out part inspection, final quality checks & red rabbit verification of the tooling equipment, to look out defects or equipment failure as per customer specifications to produce quality parts & put a quality hold on parts that does not meet the specifications. Design and install low-cost tooling & fixture to aid production processes (disassembly and reassembly) to increase the quality & reduce the risk of key components of powertrain using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. Document & validate quality control plan, MDT master plan, one point lesson, visual aids, First Article Inspection (FAI), Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) & work instruction (WI), performance reports & work standards for effectiveness on a weekly basis. Participate in a cross-functional time, motion and ergonomic team responsible for correcting motion and ergonomic concerns across the plant by reducing operators and inefficiencies on the manufacturing line. (Excel VBA.) Conducting root cause analysis using 8D, Gemba walks, DMAIC approach & develop corrective actions (CAPA) for quality concerns. Investigating quality issues by working with inter departments and conduct special studies by use of advanced statistical quality tools (Hypothesis testing, Regression analysis, ANOVA) and effective techniques for solving complex quality daily problems and issues.
