As part of the Industrial Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes and driving efficiency across our semiconductor equipment operations. Your work will directly support ASM’s mission to deliver cutting-edge technology with precision and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams and lead impactful projects that shape the future of manufacturing.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- →Develop and implement capacity planning models to optimize resource and equipment utilization.
- →Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing downtime.
- →Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and troubleshoot issues.
- →Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and boost productivity.
- →Lead and manage projects focused on process improvements and cost reductions.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, planning, facilities, finance, and customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial engineering within semiconductor or equipment manufacturing.
- Proficiency in industrial engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation software, statistical analysis tools).
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in project management and driving process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Hands-on experience implementing lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in a global manufacturing environment.
