IT Field Service Technician

AP Security & Video Surveillance is seeking a Full-Time IT Field Service Technician.  We are a Belle Vernon, PA based company that sells, installs and services security, video surveillance and door access systems. Position Summary: 

As an IT Field Service Technician, you will be expected to report in via email to the office for scheduled tasks, and report on all completed tasks.  You will handle on-site support for customers, as well as aid in installations of customer locations.    During on-site support you will focus on Windows based PC’s and our various Surveillance and Door Access Control software, as well at troubleshooting and replacing hardware for the various products we install.  You will need to be able to troubleshoot PC’s and will need to know basic IT Networking Skills.  Willing to train the right candidate. 

Requirements and Skills: 

• IT Networking knowledge 

• Experience with Office products including Microsoft Word and Excel 

• Experience with Google products including Docs and Calendar 

• Eagerness to learn and keep up with new technology 

• Ladder and Lift work may be necessary 

• Willingness to travel, including overnight stays 

• Good Troubleshooting Skills 

• Good Customer Service Skills
