About the Role

This is a 6-month fixed contract role designed to ensure continuity of data, systems, and administrative operations within the Student Life team during a staff leave period.

The Interim Student Life, Data & Admin Associate will focus on maintaining existing systems, supporting ongoing programs, and ensuring consistent reporting and data integrity, rather than building new systems or long-term strategie

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update existing data collection processes (surveys, attendance tracking, feedback tools).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and cleanliness of Student Life data.
  • Organize and manage datasets for easy access and use by the team.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards on student engagement and program participation.
  • Support ongoing analysis by identifying basic trends and highlighting key insights.
  • Act as the primary Salesforce point of contact for Student Life during the interim period.
  • Maintain data integrity, user access, and system organization.
  • Support staff with day-to-day Salesforce usage, troubleshooting, and reporting needs.
  • Update existing dashboards and reports (no major system redesign expected).
  • Support coordination of Student Life activities through data tracking and administrative processes.
  • Ensure documentation (data definitions, trackers, reports) remains up-to-date and usable.
  • Assist with routine operational tasks that enable smooth team functioning.
  • Provide light supervision or coordination support to administrative processes (if applicable).
  • Collaborate closely with Student Life team members to ensure timely data and reporting support.
  • Maintain clear communication on task progress, risks, and priorities.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal,  by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analysis, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or administrative operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

Functional Skills:

  • Data management, cleaning, and reporting
  • Basic data analysis and interpretation
  • Salesforce/CRM administration (user support, reporting, dashboards)
  • Spreadsheet and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to execute tasks quickly and reliably in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication and responsiveness
