As Creative Production Lead, you will own the day-to-day execution of the creative production pipeline for the Marketing – Creative team.
This role sits between creative direction and production delivery. You will take direction from the Creative Manager and key stakeholders, translate it into clear briefs and production plans, and ensure work moves through the team with the right balance of speed, quality, and resource efficiency.
1. Translate Strategy into Actionable Plans
Receive creative direction and business priorities from the Creative Manager and stakeholders, translating them into actionable briefs, task scopes, priorities, timelines, and resource plans.
Work with the production team to break down complex requests into executable tasks, ensuring clarity for execution with minimal rework.
2. Manage and Coach the Production Team
Directly lead the Production team (Designers and Creative Accounts) and resources in day-to-day execution.
Set priorities, assign work, and actively balance workload based on business needs and capacity.
Lead regular planning and check-in rituals to ensure progress is visible and manageable.
Coach team members on execution quality, clarity, accountability, and delivery speed.
Identify blockers early, make practical decisions, and drive resolution with stakeholders.
Cultivate an environment where designers can execute independently while maintaining alignment on standards and goals.
3. Drive Quality and Operational Excellence
Define and reinforce working rules that reduce delays, misalignment, and repeated feedback loops.
Maintain strong output quality at speed, ensuring production SLA is met and acting quickly when delivery is at risk.
Improve how work is tracked, reviewed, and handed off across the pipeline, coordinating with Creative Account roles to keep intake, routing, and QC running smoothly.
4. Monitor Performance and Drive Data-Led Improvements
Track core production metrics (output volume, turnaround time, SLA health, and bottleneck patterns) to improve planning quality, efficiency, and delivery predictability.
Read key creative performance signals (e.g., CTR, CVR, CPI) to understand how production choices connect to business outcomes.
Turn data into action by identifying issues early, adjusting plans, and providing simple, useful reporting snapshots for leadership.
5. Ensure Seamless Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Creative Manager, UA, Product, and other stakeholders to align expectations and delivery plans.
Support smooth communication between strategy, production, and execution teams.
Build trust and clarity so stakeholders can move fast without constant escalation.
6. Scale Production through Systems and AI Adoption
Help improve production systems, templates, and ways of working to handle higher volume without losing quality.
Contribute to the rollout and adoption of AI-assisted workflows where they create real production value, distinguishing between meaningful improvements and status-only automation.
