Responsibilities

The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredits over 1400 dental education programs globally with the assistance of over 800 volunteers. The Coordinator, Advanced Dental Education Programs coordinates the logistical and operational accreditation activities for approximately 300-400 advanced dental education programs. The coordinator must understand, interpret and apply Commission policies and Standards and act as a resource for programs and volunteers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • 3 years (or 7 years in lieu of a degree) of administrative oversight of business processes, using data management systems and electronic record keeping, managing, organizing and prioritizing tasks within a high volume of ongoing assignments with limited supervision
  • Extensive experience drafting letters, reports and agendas with accuracy
  • Knowledge of data management systems, technology, and project management
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, analytical, collaboration, prioritization, facilitation, proofreading, customer service, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills and be self-starter; results-focused
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Travel once per year, 1-3 nights per trip, for professional development, conferences

  • Previous accreditation experience
  • Previous experience working with confidential and sensitive information
