Activities Assistant

• →Help plan and lead daily recreational, social, and wellness programs for residents, working alongside the Director of Activities
• →Encourage residents to join activities that fit their cognitive, physical, and emotional needs
• →Escort residents to appointments, outings, church services, and special events
• →Keep activity calendars, bulletin boards, and supplies organized and current
• →Build relationships with residents and families, and bring their interests into activity planning
• →Watch for changes in resident participation or wellbeing and report them to the Director of Activities or nursing staff
• →Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards

Required:

• Active Nebraska CNA license
• At least 18 years old
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to document care, coordinate with the care team, and communicate with residents and families

Preferred:

• Experience working with older adults
• Basic computer skills
