Responsibilities

- →Encourage residents to join activities that fit their cognitive, physical, and emotional needs
- →Escort residents to appointments, outings, church services, and special events
- →Keep activity calendars, bulletin boards, and supplies organized and current
- →Build relationships with residents and families, and bring their interests into activity planning
- →Watch for changes in resident participation or wellbeing and report them to the Director of Activities or nursing staff
- →Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
Required:
- Active Nebraska CNA license
- At least 18 years old
- Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to document care, coordinate with the care team, and communicate with residents and families
Preferred:
- Experience working with older adults
- Basic computer skills
