Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee restorative services, wellness programming, and fitness initiatives across the continuum of care
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate restorative, fitness, and wellness programs designed to meet the needs and abilities of residents
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapy providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes
  • Provide education, coaching, and support related to wellness, restorative care, and healthy aging practices
  • Supervise and support wellness and lifestyle staff, ensuring quality programming and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor participation, outcomes, quality indicators, and department performance to drive continuous improvement
  • Assist with department budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and person-centered environment that promotes resident independence and well-being
  • Current LPN license or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
  • Two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience required
  • Experience working with older adults, seniors, or individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Experience developing and leading wellness, restorative, fitness, recreation, or activity programs preferred
  • Activity Director Certification is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Knowledge of wellness practices, aging services, regulatory requirements, and person-centered care principles
