Job Summary
Greenovations is a sustainability service under the Commission of Environmental Sustainability that supports students through retrofitting and composting programs. The Greenovations Deputy oversees the day-to-day operations of these programs, ensuring services are accessible, well-organized, and effectively promoted to the Queen's community. The Deputy works closely with the Commissioner of Environmental Sustainability to support the long-term success and growth of the service. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership abilities, a passion for environmental sustainability, and an interest in community-based sustainability initiatives.

Job Duties
Regular volunteer hours of 10 hours each week
Oversee the retrofitting and compost program under the Commission of Environmental Sustainability
Schedule retrofit and compost volunteers
Schedule requested retrofits between retrofit volunteers and patrons
Oversee creation of graphics for the Greenovations social media
Work with the Commissioner of Environmental Sustainability to ensure long-term success of the service
Maintain tool and supply inventory
Attend all training sessions to become familiar with the department and adhere to its general operations
Respect and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
Maintain timely communication with your direct supervisor
Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and attentively
Attend and fully participate in all in-person and virtual meetings
Strive to foster a warm, comfortable, and respectful atmosphere
Always serve as a representative of the AMS and its mission statement
Complete other job duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Working Conditions
