Santeiu Vaults is known as a trusted, multigeneration leader in burial vaults and cremation services, with deep ties to the funeral profession and a reputation for compassion, reliability, and long‑term service to the community.  Founded in 1970 by George P. Santeiu in the Detroit area, the company has over 50 years of continuous operation, growing from a small vault business into a regional leader in death‑care services.

We are seeking someone who has excellent management skills, a team player, and is a serious multi-tasker. This position offers a flexible daily schedule and will be fully in-person in Livonia, MI. 

Position Responsibilities Include
  • Maintain an accurate system of accounting record keeping in QuickBooks for Santeiu Vaults and related entities
  • Establish comprehensive controls and documenting processes for accounting and credit cards
  • Manage cash flow through daily deposits and ACH payments and reconciliation of the company’s bank and credit card accounts
  • Responsible for collecting, reviewing, and interpreting financial data to produce accurate and timely financial reports
  • Process payroll including tax and liability payments and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll tax filings and employment verifications
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all outside professional services, including vendors, CPA firm, financial institutions, etc.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Responsible for effectively handling all insurance-related audits
  • HR administration for all new and current employees
  • Responsible for the reconciliation of the company’s cash and deposit accounts
About You
The ideal candidate for this role has QuickBooks expertise, an incredible attention to detail and is comfortable working in the death services industry. Part-time arrangements will be considered.
