Analytica is seeking a Systems Architect – Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable IT infrastructure supporting advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role is ideal for a senior technical leader who can balance strategic infrastructure architecture with hands-on execution. 

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring infrastructure reliability, performance, and security, while enabling modern data and AI/ML workloads. Working closely with cross-functional technical leads, you will align infrastructure capabilities with program and mission requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure environments  
  • Oversee infrastructure planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance across cloud and/or hybrid environments  
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting data, analytics, and machine learning workloads  
  • Collaborate with data, application, and security teams to align infrastructure solutions with program requirements  
  • Define and implement infrastructure standards, best practices, and architectural patterns  
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost efficiency  
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements  
  • Support DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC)  
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis  
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance on infrastructure-related decisions  

Requirements

  • Experience in a senior infrastructure engineering or architecture role (Level III or equivalent)  
  • Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and/or hybrid infrastructure environments  
  • Experience designing and supporting infrastructure for data platforms, analytics, or machine learning workloads  
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)  
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, compute, and storage architectures  
  • Experience with system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning  
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines  
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  
  • Experience supporting big data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, Spark)  
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)  
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards in regulated environments  
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar  
  • Experience in federal or mission-driven environments
