At Anderson Center for Autism, we are committed to optimizing the quality of life (QofL) for individuals across the lifespan. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician IV – Carpenter, you will play a critical role in ensuring our environments remain safe, functional, and supportive for the individuals we serve. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of skilled carpentry work to maintain and repair agency facilities in accordance with established standards and codes.

Pay Range: $27.44 - $32.44 Hourly; Based on experience.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform skilled carpentry and general maintenance tasks in a professional and efficient manner
Maintain clean, safe work areas and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards
Complete work orders from start to finish, including documentation and daily activity logs
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope
Measure, cut, shape, and install materials to complete repairs and construction projects
Construct, repair, and install structural components, fixtures, flooring, drywall, cabinetry, and furniture
Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools according to manufacturer guidelines
Troubleshoot issues, apply effective solutions, and communicate challenges to supervisor as needed
Maintain professionalism, adhere to uniform standards, and work collaboratively with staff
Complete required trainings and follow departmental procedures
Participate in on-call rotation, emergency response, and snow removal as needed
High School Diploma or equivalent
Sufficient carpentry experience and technical knowledge to perform responsibilities independently
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and perform accurate measurements
Working knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
