Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and utility systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on air compressors, HVAC systems, boiler, air handlers, chillers, pumps, motors, and other facility equipment.
  • Install, repair, and modify compressed air piping, including black pipe systems.
  • Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs and installs on facility equipment, lighting, motors, switches, and related components.
  • Perform general plumbing repairs, including piping, valves, fixtures, drains, and water systems.
  • Perform general building repairs, including doors, walls, ceilings, flooring, lighting, painting, and minor carpentry.
  • Respond to facility-related breakdowns and prioritize repairs based on safety and operational impact.
  • Support equipment installations, facility modifications, and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers when specialized work is required.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and work orders accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and proper PPE requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • 5+ years of facilities, industrial maintenance, or related experience.
  • Hands-on experience with air compressors, HVAC, air handlers, chillers, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Experience installing or repairing black pipe and compressed air systems preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • HVAC, electrical, or other applicable trade certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work from elevated platforms.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments.
  • Local travel for hardware and materials may be required.
