The Clinical Training Manager, Vascular - Aortic is responsible to develop, deliver, and reinforce clinical training programs to employees, distributors and/or customers that align with the goals of training for the assigned specialty. This role will report to Senior Manager, Training - APAC.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leaders within the Division, company functions and operational units to implement and ensure accuracy of content and consistency in clinical training priorities, processes, and structure.
  • Support the structure for training to allow for global direction and alignment across specialties, while accommodating for local and regional regulations and needs.
  • Consistently collaborate with regional training team to establish, measure, and meet training and development plan goals, and assist with training documentation as needed. This may require team meetings and calls outside of normal working hours.
  • Continuously support the strategy for regional clinical training programs by monitoring metrics and listening to feedback from customers and employees. Take action and resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively.
  • As assigned, conduct in-field, in person classroom, and/or virtual training of employees on product knowledge, clinical, business, and/or sales skill sets.
  • As assigned, spend time with teams and leadership in the field supporting clinical training and events, as well as reinforcing and coaching sales and business development opportunities.
  • Provide clinical case support coverage in assigned accounts where necessary.
  • Ensure relevant training-related processes are followed, and training is correctly documented in Cook Learn.
  • As assigned, assist in the development of annual activity/budget projections.
  • As assigned, assist in managing calendar of educational events within assigned region to ensure structure and alignment with Division goals.
  • As assigned, assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, criteria and qualifications for attendees, trainers, and programs.
  • Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
  • Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product-specific requirements are met.
  • Requirements

  • College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, including but not limited to sales, clinical or training.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of relevant specialty products and clinical application of standard and custom made aortic devices.
  • Proven extensive experience in education and training in a clinical, sales or training environment, with the ability to interact effectively with large groups or on a one-to-one basis, virtually and in-person.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Prior experience leading organizational change.
  • Knowledge in training documentation systems/methods.
  • Knowledge in adult learning theories including assessments and competency based trainings.
  • Model the company standards that others are expected to follow.
  • Demonstrate positive and constructive behaviors that drive team cooperation in achieving market objectives.
  • Effective oral, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision.
  • Effective time management and prioritizational skills.
  • Proficient with personal computer and Microsoft Office or Mac OS and other business tools.
  • This role requires fluency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data concepts, aligned with organizational standards for responsible and effective use.
  • Ability to travel domestically, internationally and weekends as needed up to 50%.
  • Work under general office and hospital or clinical environmental conditions.
