Azure Platform Administrator

Applied Research Solutions (ARS) is seeking a skilled Azure Platform Administrator to support and enhance cloud-based mission systems across Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience operating core Azure services, maintaining secure and reliable cloud infrastructure, and enjoys collaborating with IT, cybersecurity, and development teams to solve complex technical challenges. This role offers opportunities to expand your expertise across Azure services, virtualization, cloud security, and platform operations while supporting mission-critical programs.

• →Administer and support mission workloads in Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity services (Azure AD/Entra ID), and resource policies
• →Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, including host pools, session hosts, and application delivery
• →Assist with implementation of Azure security controls including identity governance, conditional access, RBAC, policy enforcement, and general cloud hygiene
• →Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices for consistent platform use
• →Continuously learn and adopt new Azure cloud technologies, frameworks, and best practices
• →Other duties as assigned

• Must be a US citizen
• Active TS/SCI or ability/willingness to obtain
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of cloud administration experience, preferably in Azure
• Familiarity with container platforms, Azure Kubernetes
• Current Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification, or the ability to obtain one within six months of hire
• Security+ or other DoD 8140 IAM Level II certification required
• Strong organizational, communication, and multi‑tasking skills
• Ability to thrive as part of a small, fast‑moving team
• Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and innovation skills
