As a Senior Administrative Support Specialist, you will play an important role in maintaining the administrative backbone within a DoD setting. This cleared DoD role requires a highly organized professional who can manage executive calendars, coordinate taskers and staff actions, support classified meetings and senior-level engagements, and ensure critical documentation and projects remain on track. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting senior government or military leadership and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. This role requires employee pass background screening for SAP.

Responsibilities may include: 

  • Records Management

  • Manage Workflow Taskers between the Directorate, Division, Branch and program levels

  • Collaborate with PEG and Branch Admin Support Personnel

  • Review documents for approval and clarity

  • Prepare Status Update briefings for leadership meetings

  • Take meeting minutes and follow-up with action items

  • Assist with travel planning and arrangement

  • Use discernment in finding/recommending the right person/people to work on a particular task

  • Will perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must hold a current top-secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Must pass a background screening for SAP
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting senior leadership.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, and web-based government systems.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and support classified activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS), DAF365, and DoD administrative processes.
  • Experience coordinating executive-level meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Familiarity with DoD workflows, staff packages, and government correspondence processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,
    • 15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD 

    The expected annual salary range: $80k - $90k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
