Accounting III

Role Summary Responsible for end-to-end Taiwan payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery, while supporting payroll accounting, reporting, audits, and system improvements. Key Responsibilities * Manage monthly payroll processing, including salary calculation, variable pay, and deductions * Handle off-cycle payments such as bonuses, commissions, and other special payments * Perform payroll reconciliation, reporting, and journal entries * Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities * Resolve payroll discrepancies and handle employee inquiries * Ensure compliance with tax, labor, and statutory requirements * Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory requests * Drive process improvements and support payroll system enhancement Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 3+ years of payroll, HR operations, or accounting experience Preferred Qualifications * Experience with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Digiwin) * Familiar with Taiwan labor laws and tax regulations * Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Fluent in English and Chinese ## Qualifications ### Education: Bachelor's Degree ### Skills ### Certifications: ### Languages: ### Years of Experience: 2 - 4 Years ### Work Experience: ## Additional Information ### ### Shift: Day (Taiwan) ### ### Travel: Not Specified ### ### Relocation Eligible: No ### Referral Payment Plan: Employee Referral (Standard) Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
