Accounting Professional

Required Travel :No Travel Location: :[[reqLocation]] ## In one sentence We are seeking an accounting professional to manage Fixed Assets accounting and reporting. The role covers end-to-end asset lifecycle activities, strong financial controls, and hands-on SAP (FI-AA preferred). The person will support month/quarter-end closure, audits, SOX requirements, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. ## All you need is... Key Responsibilities * Own the Fixed Assets register in SAP, including asset master maintenance and capitalization. * Process asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and retirements; ensure timely updates to records. * Run and review depreciation (book/tax where applicable) and ensure correct Capex vs Opex classification. Compliance & Controls * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / GAAP) and maintain documentation/audit trails. * Support internal/external audits and SOX controls; identify and escalate process risks and control gaps. SAP & Process Management * Work extensively in SAP (FI-AA preferred) and drive process improvement/automation initiatives. * Coordinate with Procurement, Projects, GL, and Tax to resolve issues and improve end-to-end asset processes. Qualifications * Education: CA Intermediate / ACCA * Experience: 2+ years in accounting; preference for FA / GL and SAP exposure Skills & Competencies * Strong knowledge of the fixed assets accounting lifecycle and controls * Hands-on SAP (FI-AA preferred) and strong Excel skills (pivots, reconciliations, data handling) * Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work in deadline-driven environments Preferred Qualifications * Experience in an MNC/shared services setup; exposure to audit/compliance reporting and automation tools ## What will your job look like? ## Why you will love this job: ## Who are we?
