Buyer (B3)

Role Responsibilities: * Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand * Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management) * Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. * Lead inventory and E&Z reduction efforts * Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required) * Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders * Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree * 2-4 years of experience Preferred Qualifications: * Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace * Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed ## Qualifications ### Education: Bachelor's Degree ### Skills ### Certifications: ### Languages: ### Years of Experience: 2 - 4 Years ### Work Experience: ## Additional Information ### ### Shift: Day (Singapore) ### ### Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time ### ### Relocation Eligible: Yes ### Referral Payment Plan: Employee Referral (Standard) Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
