India Finance Payroll & Reimbursement Accounting 171401

The position is a critical role in Global Finance India - responsibilities encompass activities associated with the payroll accounting and management, Internal control, compliance & Month-End Close activities. Responsible for smooth processing of the organizations monthly payroll and final settlements Partner with HR and IT teams for getting the payroll cycle closed on time Set up measures to improve efficiency through automation and process optimization Build strong internal control mechanisms for the India payroll team Collaborate with Controllership, Tax and FP&A teams in closing the monthly payroll transactions and driving monthly payroll analysis Build self-service financial dashboards on Power BI /Tableau to drive payroll analytics Review of employe benefits like Leave Encashment, Gratuity, Notice Pay reimbursements, Joining Bonus, Performance Bonus and Incentives etc. Review of statutory procedures and practices PF, PT & ESI etc Evaluate India payroll policies and relevant labor laws related updates on a periodic basis and make necessary recommendations Drive finance transformation initiates across the group ##LI-DNITechnical and General Skills: Post Graduate degree in Finance/MBA(Fin)/CA with 6 - 8 years of relevant India Payroll and Payroll Accounting experience Experience in Oracle GL, Excel financial modeling, Power BI/Tableau Strong working knowledge of India payroll acts, compliances and tax structures
