Procurement Operation Manager

Lead and manage Procurement Execution and Inbound Logistics operations to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials, support production requirements, optimize operational costs, mitigate supply risks and maintain compliance.

• Lead, manage and develop Procurement Execution and Logistics teams to achieve operational, service, cost and compliance objectives.
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities and performance expectations; coach and develop team members.
• Design, standardize and continuously improve Procurement Execution and Logistics processes, SOPs and control mechanisms.
• Drive process improvement, digitalization and automation to improve productivity, visibility and operational control.

• Own end-to-end raw material supply execution, from PO release through final receipt, ensuring continuity of supply.
• Monitor open orders, shipment status, import documentation, delivery schedules and supply risks.
• Coordinate suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, manufacturing sites and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier delivery, transportation, customs, import documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Manage logistics service providers, including service level, cost, performance and continuous improvement.
• Oversee logistics-related costs including freight, customs clearance and inland transportation.

• Establish and monitor KPIs including OTIF, supplier delivery reliability, open orders, logistics cost, freight cost and customs clearance lead time.
• Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Develop improvement plans to enhance service levels, efficiency, cost performance and supply reliability.
• Prepare performance reports and recommendations for senior management.

• Manage risks related to supply continuity, logistics, transportation and trade compliance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, import/export regulations, customs requirements and applicable laws.
• Lead operational exceptions, escalations and corrective actions.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections and maintain contingency/business continuity plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, International Trade, Procurement or related field.
• 8–10+ years in Procurement Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Import/Export or related functions.
• 3–5+ years of people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement operations, import/export, customs and transportation.
• Experience managing 3PLs, freight forwarders, customs brokers and transportation vendors.
• Strong ERP and reporting skills, preferably SAP/Oracle/D365, Excel and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
• Experience in cross-functional coordination with Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Quality, Regulatory and Finance.
• Proven track record in process improvement, cost optimization and KPI management.
• Experience with audits, internal controls, trade compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Animal Nutrition, FMCG, Food Ingredients, Nutrition, Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing is preferred.
