Business Analyst

The Business Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, QA, and design. In this role, you’ll be responsible for translating business needs into clearly defined requirements and user stories, managing the refinement process in Jira, and ensuring team alignment throughout the development cycle.

•   Write detailed, well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation in Jira and Confluence.
•   Participate in and lead story refinement sessions with cross-functional teams.
•   Partner with Product Managers to analyze business problems, propose solutions, and break down features into deliverable stories.
•   Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure that requirements are testable, complete, and clear.
•   Help facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
•   Translate feedback from internal stakeholders and clients into clear product enhancements and features.
•   Maintain a clean and prioritized product backlog to ensure efficient delivery of value.
•   Identify edge cases, dependencies, and business logic scenarios to mitigate risk and avoid rework.
•   Continuously refine and improve how requirements are gathered and communicated.

•   3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in a tech or software development environment.
•   Proven experience writing clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical terms.
•   Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
•   Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, product, and design.
•   Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•   Familiarity with API-driven platforms or B2B2C products is a plus.
•   Experience with Confluence, Miro, Lucid Chart, or similar documentation tools.

• Experience in travel and/or loyalty-as-a-service industries.

• Knowledge of the WCAG 2.1 AA standard
