Arnot Health is seeking a committed and skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine team. In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the health, safety, and performance of athletes across our network. This is a full-time, day-shift position.
As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will provide comprehensive athletic training services in line with NATA standards, including injury prevention, emergency care, on-site evaluation, rehabilitation, and follow-up. You'll be an essential link between athletes, families, coaches, and physicians to support safe athletic participation.
Responsibilities

Provide prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Offer on-site coverage for practices, games, and special events-may include evening, weekend, or travel.

Develop and implement treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities.

Apply braces, tapes, and protective equipment as needed.
- →
Maintain complete and accurate documentation of injuries and treatments.
- →
Coordinate care and follow-up appointments with physicians and rehab staff.

Educate athletes and families on post-injury care, concussion protocols, and return-to-play processes.

Assist with onboarding of new athletic training contracts and data collection for program growth.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a health-related field required.

National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) certification required.

1-2 years of athletic training experience preferred.

CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs independently and assist with heavier loads.

Ability to stand for long periods, walk distances, and carry medical supplies/equipment.

Exposure Category I: Regular contact with athletes; potential exposure to blood/body fluids.
