About the Role

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing and maintaining air conditioning and climate control systems in vehicles. The role ensures optimal cooling performance, passenger comfort, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

→Diagnose faults in vehicle A/C systems using appropriate diagnostic tools
→Repair and service components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves
→Perform refrigerant recovery, vacuuming, recharging, and leak detection.
→ Install new A/C systems or retrofit existing systems where required
→Inspect and test A/C systems for proper operation and performance
→Identify and repair electrical faults related to A/C systems (wiring, relays, sensors)
→Replace defective parts and ensure proper system functionality
→Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid system failures
→Maintain records of repairs, refrigerant usage, and servicing activities
→ Ensure compliance with environmental regulations regarding refrigerant handling
→Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Air Conditioning, Auto Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
5 -10 years relevant experience in mining maintenance field.
Proven experience as an Auto A/C Technician
Knowledge of refrigerants, recovery systems, and HVAC principles
Ability to use A/C service tools and diagnostic equipment
Understanding of vehicle electrical systems related to HVAC
Knowledge of safety and environmental standards
Journey level HVAC technician license.
Holder of a valid driver's license.
