Program Intern

We welcome applicants who are currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, communications, public relations, or any related field. Candidates from other disciplines with strong extracurricular involvement in education, social impact, or community engagement are equally encouraged to apply. Prior formal experience is not required, though exposure to program coordination, events, or community work is a plus. The ideal candidate brings:

1. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Thai, with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders and creating content.
2. Organization: Good time-management and multitasking skills, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-through.
3. Digital Literacy: Comfortable with MS Office, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools (Zoom, WhatsApp); familiarity with social media and design tools (Canva, Adobe) is an advantage.
4. Curiosity & Adaptability: Eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and creative problem-solving demands.
5. Passion for Social Impact: Genuine enthusiasm for education, youth empowerment, and changemaking — and a collaborative, team-first mindset. 

1) Assist the Country Representative in coordinating partnerships with key stakeholders, including CSOs, changemakers, and organizations involved in Changemaking programs.

2) Support the Fellow selection process by assisting in sourcing and initial outreach activities as part of the broader Venture program.

3) Help build and maintain an active, collaborative network across the country to support a meaningful experience for Ashoka Fellows.

4) Assist in managing communications with Fellows and support knowledge management tasks.

5) Help coordinate with Ashoka Southeast Asia on activities related to the Venture & Fellowship programs, under the guidance of senior staff.

6) Support the organization of workshops for changemakers and children, including logistics, participant engagement, and post-event follow-up.

7) Contribute to crafting inspiring stories of changemakers in education to showcase program successes and highlight impactful initiatives.

8) Assist in documentation and tracking of program activities, milestones, and outcomes, and support the preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports.

9) Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining records related to program activities.

To be able to innately ‘get’ this, candidates should have a broad and inquisitive intellectual and a thinking pattern that connects the dots between historical trends and current social context.

Entrepreneurship/Intrapreneurship: Compelled to take creative initiative and ownership (e.g. founding an organization or company, starting a movement, or re-shaping the work of an existing organization). Demonstrates relentless and realistic how-to-thinking and passion for seeing their ideas come to life. 
3. Emotional and Social Intelligence:  Ability to work efficiently and respectfully in teams, putting organizational/team goal first (personal glory second). 
4. Ethical Fiber: Exceptionally strong ethical behavior. Is self-reflective and has strong empathy skills. Trustworthy.
