As a Senior Data Engineer, you will build trusted, scalable data platforms that power analytics, AI, and digital transformation across ASM. You will integrate data from key enterprise systems and turn it into reliable, governed data products for business and technology teams. Working with architects, analysts, AI teams, and stakeholders, you will help shape the data foundation behind faster decisions and smarter operations.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines.
- →Integrate data from ERP, CRM, PLM, supply chain, manufacturing, service, and external systems.
- →Develop reusable ingestion patterns, APIs, connectors, and engineering standards.
- →Build curated, governed data products that enable analytics, AI, and self-service reporting.
- →Improve data quality, lineage, metadata, reliability, performance, and security.
- →Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, analysts, data scientists, and AI engineers to deliver production-ready solutions.
- →Collaborate with junior engineers and contribute to architecture reviews, technical governance, and delivery planning.
- →Ensure platform reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- →Participate in project planning, estimation, and technical governance activities.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms in complex global environments.
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Databricks, data warehousing, and lakehouse architecture.
- Experience with ELT/ETL, data modeling, data integration, APIs, and cloud data services.
- Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Azure SQL.
- Experience working in Agile teams with Git, CI/CD, and automated testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and ownership skills.
- Databricks or Azure Data Engineer certification.
- Experience with Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Data Mesh, or data product operating models.
- Experience integrating data from SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Teamcenter, Ariba, Kinaxis, MES, or service lifecycle platforms.
- Experience supporting AI, machine learning, or generative AI workloads.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Experience with master data management, data governance, metadata, or lineage.
