Requirements

- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, function analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills
- Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality with minimal direction
- Possess strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop behavior plans and treatment plans for students as well as facilitate appropriate behavior strategies
- →Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments using evidence-based tools
- →Maintain compliance with relevant ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations (e.g., BACB Code of Ethics)
- →Provide ongoing support to direct support professionals, ABA implementers and other individuals in support roles for families
- →Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools to conduct functional assessments and analysis when appropriate
- →Create/maintain a data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for students; analyze data to implement best practices
- →Provide appropriate service to each student on the caseload
- →Establish open, frequent communication with parents and all related service staff
- →Make recommendations for the time needed to implement behavioral goals
- →Participate in appropriate staff meetings as requested
- →Establish and maintain a positive working atmosphere with staff in order to encourage a positive learning environment for students
- →Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job
- →Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
- →Strong family engagement and communication skills
