Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development. ## About the role As ATB’s next Strategic Sourcing Manager for Sustainability, Relationships, & Impact Team, you will be responsible for sourcing and contract events with highly important and strategically aligned third parties. You will ensure these events are run within public procurement practices while providing the best value to ATB. You will develop an in-depth knowledge of business units, and understand the goals & strategies and changing needs of each unit. You will have a curiosity that will help you to listen to your customers, an aptitude for continuous learning, and the perseverance to deliver on the business’ needs. You will demonstrate a high proficiency of knowledge in public procurement, contracts, as well as strategic sourcing. ## Accountabilities * Develop sourcing strategies of the categories, in alignment with the category strategy: * Manage the collection, consolidation and communication of reporting and data on sourcing strategies and evaluation to the business areas and third parties * Responsible for the entire end to end contracting process of highly important and strategically aligned third parties; * Owns, participates and supervises the Sourcing (RFX Process) process * Facilitates bid evaluation * Assess new market entrants and Third parties * Resolve sourcing issues, including contractual terms and conditions, third party escalations, and escalations from business areas * Provides inputs for category development and management of highly important and strategically aligned third parties * Collaborate with the Third Party Management team (TPM) to maintain consistency across contract history and ensure this is reflected in sourcing/contracting engagements and amendments/renewals * Manage public procurement processes within a competitive environment ## Skills, experience & requirements Core Technical Skills * Preferred 5+ years experience in contract management and strategic sourcing (executing or leading) * At least 2 years experience in direct IT contracting * Superior negotiation skills and attention to detail balanced with strategic approach and view * Intermediate skills In third party strategy and governance, organizational alignment, risk management, category management, document management, data interpretation and communication Interpersonal Skills * A team oriented attitude with an eagerness to learn and seek knowledge and understanding * Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills * Demonstrated ability to effectively build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment Certifications * University degree in Business or a post-secondary accreditation in a related field * A professional designation is considered an asset (eg.
