As a Capital and Balance Sheet Reporting Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting past performance, future projections, and scenario analyses across all reporting regimes, such as FRS, Economic, Solvency II, and Tax. Your insights will directly support strategic decision-making on solvency and capital generation.
Responsibilities
~1 min readAs Capital and Balance Sheet Reporting Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Owning and overseeing the production of key regulatory and governance reports, such as Solvency II and IFRS
- →
Analysing results, identifying and explaining key drivers of movements, and reporting these in external reports (e.g. SFCR) and internal reports (e.g. ORSA and internal Solvency II & IFRS reports)

Representing actuarial topics in senior committees and interacting with shareholders, auditors, and supervisors

Sharing knowledge proactively within the team and across the division
- →
Delivering risk reports accurately and on time

Identifying relevant developments and explaining their impact on the balance sheet and solvency position

Driving improvements in modelling, tooling, and ways of working, including automation and the use of modern technologies
Fully qualified Actuary (AAG or equivalent, mandatory)
At least 5 years of post qualification experience in life insurance relevant professional experience (mandatory)
Strong analytical skills and communication skills (English required, Dutch preferred)
You are eager to learn and develop and are a collaborative team player with a proactive mindset. You combine strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex actuarial topics clearly and concisely. You can think conceptually while acting pragmatically. In addition, you manage timelines and stakeholders effectively and communicate confidently at different levels within the organisation.

Salary per month: based on CLA scale 18, the range is € 7.060,37 to € 9.413,82 based on 36 hours.
