Atlas Advisors, LLC is seeking a Strategic Events Specialist to support the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Office of External Affairs. This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic events that advance agency priorities and stakeholder engagement. The selected candidate will assist with end-to-end event delivery, including planning, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site execution for internal and external engagements. **This position is contingent on contract award** Responsibilities: Plan and execute strategic events, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats Develop event plans, timelines, and task trackers to support execution Support event concept development aligned with communications objectives Draft and manage event documentation, including agendas, run-of-show, invitation lists, and briefing materials Coordinate event logistics such as venues, A/V, staging, transportation, and guest flow Manage vendor coordination, including quotes, deliverables, and timelines Track event budgets and support reconciliation of costs and invoices Coordinate internal approvals for event materials and execution requirements Support speaker coordination, including outreach, confirmations, and day-of execution Collaborate with communications teams to align events with broader messaging and outreach efforts Support development of event materials such as signage, printed products, and audiovisual content Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, event management, hospitality, international affairs, or related field Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in event planning and execution Strong project management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors Proficiency with common event tools and Microsoft Office U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting executive-level, government, or high-visibility events Strong project management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills Experience managing event logistics and vendor coordination Work Schedule Work is performed on-site in Washington, D.C.
