Digital Communications Specialist (Content Specialist) Atlas Advisors, LLC is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to support the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Office of External Affairs. This role focuses on developing and executing digital content strategies across social media, web, and email platforms to enhance public engagement and support agency communications objectives. The selected candidate will support day-to-day digital communications, including content creation, campaign execution, performance tracking, and website updates in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. **This position is contingent on contract award** Responsibilities: Develop, write, and schedule engaging social media content aligned with organizational messaging and campaign goals Support planning and execution of integrated digital campaigns, including content calendars and approvals Monitor social media platforms for engagement, messages, and emerging trends Conduct social listening to identify opportunities, risks, and relevant conversations Track and report on performance metrics, providing recommendations for optimization Maintain and update website content using a Content Management System (CMS) Ensure website content accuracy, formatting, accessibility, and alignment with brand standards Assist in drafting and deploying email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and template development Monitor email campaign performance and recommend improvements Coordinate with internal teams and creative partners to develop and manage content assets Maintain organized documentation including content calendars, reports, and standard operating procedures Work Schedule Work is performed on-site in Washington, D.C. Standard business hours Monday through Friday Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or related field Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in media relations, communications, or journalism Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting federal government or large organizations Familiarity with analytics tools for social media and email performance Familiarity and understanding of Section 508 accessibility requirements for electronic and information technology.
