AT&T is seeking an Environmental Site Manager (ESM) to support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance across Northern California. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations while supporting operational teams, managing regulatory inspections, and mitigating environmental risks.
Responsibilities

Manage environmental compliance programs and regulatory requirements across assigned facilities.

Lead regulatory inspections and serve as the primary contact for environmental agencies.

Conduct Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), compliance audits, and risk assessments.

Provide environmental guidance to operations, engineering, construction, and leadership teams.
Requirements
~1 min readExperience managing environmental compliance programs in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of environmental regulations governing hazardous materials, waste, air emissions, water compliance, and fuel storage systems.
Experience conducting audits, inspections, investigations, or environmental assessments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities across a geographically dispersed territory.
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Environmental certifications or advanced environmental compliance training.
Experience within telecommunications, utilities, construction, industrial, or facilities operations.
Knowledge of California environmental regulations.
Experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
Experience with Copilot preferred
