Marketing Specialist - Marketing and Communications

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting Augusta Health’s growth-focused marketing initiatives through campaign development, paid media coordination, service line marketing support, and strategic marketing execution. This role supports measurable patient acquisition, engagement, and organizational growth objectives.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications related to marketing, communications, public relations, digital strategy, or project management preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field required.
- Healthcare system experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication technologies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Develops and supports strategic marketing campaigns aligned with organizational growth priorities.
- Supports paid media coordination and campaign execution across multiple channels.
- Partners with service lines and operational leaders to support growth initiatives.
- Develops marketing plans, tactics, and campaign recommendations.
- Coordinates with Marketing Operations, Communications and Digital teams to implement campaign strategies.
- Monitors marketing KPIs, dashboards, and campaign performance metrics.
- Supports patient acquisition and engagement initiatives.
- Ensures consistency of messaging and brand alignment across marketing materials.
- Assists with content development for advertising, digital, print, and promotional campaigns.
- Supports strategic marketing planning and organizational growth efforts.
