Sr. Engineer - Procurement

Autoprint is a leading manufacturer of printing and packaging machinery, known for innovation, quality, and customer-centric solutions. We are expanding our team and seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer to support our growing operations. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for procurement of materials and components for manufacturing operations Evaluate and select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials Conduct inward quality checks in coordination with the quality team Maintain and update procurement records in ERP systems Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize procurement strategies Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, design, and quality Vendor development and relationship management Willing to travel for vendor visits, audits, and negotiations Requirements Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma (DME) or Bachelor’s Degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 3 to 5 years in material procurement in the manufacturing industry Experience in inward quality checking is preferred Strong knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel Excellent negotiation and communication skills Willingness to travel as required Experience in cost reduction initiatives and vendor management is an added advantage Benefits EPF Bonus Incentive
