We are seeking an experienced Waters UPLC Service/Field Engineer or qualified chromatography specialist for a short-term onsite assignment. The specialist will perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance verification on two Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class systems in a regulated pharmaceutical laboratory.
The role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and accurate documentation in accordance with applicable GxP/GMP requirements and customer procedures.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform preventive maintenance on two Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class systems.
- →Complete required calibration and performance verification activities in accordance with applicable procedures.
- →Inspect and test relevant instrument components to verify proper operation.
- →Diagnose and resolve basic operational or performance issues identified during maintenance and calibration.
- →Prepare complete, accurate, and traceable service, calibration, and maintenance records.
- →Follow applicable GxP/GMP, laboratory safety, and data integrity requirements.
- →Coordinate onsite activities with the customer and provide a summary of completed work, findings, and any recommended follow-up actions.
Requirements
~1 min read- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Waters ACQUITY UPLC H-Class systems.
- Practical experience performing UPLC/HPLC calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification.
- Experience working in GxP/GMP-regulated pharmaceutical laboratories.
- Ability to independently execute onsite service activities and complete the required technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Availability for a short-term onsite assignment in East Hanover, New Jersey.
- Previous Waters service or field engineering experience, or relevant manufacturer training or certification.
- Experience with Empower CDS, including troubleshooting instrument communication and software connectivity issues.
