POS Manager / POS Product Manager

Description
We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded, and results-oriented POS Manager/ POS Product Manager to manage the deployment, operation, support, and growth of our SoftPOS network. 

Requirements

• At Least two to three years of experience in POS operations, payment systems, merchant acquiring fintech, banking; mobile money, or digital financial services. 
• Practical experience with POS terminales, SoftPOS applications, merchant onboarding, payment support, or agent networks.
• Understanding payment authorization, reversals, refunds, reconciliation, and settlement.
• Ability to manage merchants, field teams, technicians, and operational partners.
• Strong commercial, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand a payment product and explain it clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Soft POS installation, configuration, testing, and activation. 
• Manage merchant onboarding, training, activation, and ongoing support.
• Monitor active and inactive merchants, transactions volumes, transaction values, uptime, and transaction success rates.
• Investigate failed transactions, connectivity issues, settlement problems, and device or application faults. 
• Coordinate with technical teams, payment processors, banks, telecom operators, and other partners.
• Maintain accurate records of POS, accessories, repairs, replacements, and merchant assignments.
• Reactivate inactive merchants and increase transaction activity among existing clients.
• Prepare regular reports on merchant acquisition, POS usage, operational incidents, and commercial performance. 
• Ensure compliance with payment-security, fraud-prevention, and operational procedures.

• Key indicators of past performances and success
