We are seeking a Trainee HSE Engineer for Avanceon. The ideal candidate will be responsible in facilitating design and execution of safety management plans, conducting audits, and promoting a culture of safety excellence aligned with organizational and regulatory standards in addition to planning and conducting trainings.
Responsibilities

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Operational Support ∙Assist in managing HSE functions at the factory level, including the manufacturing of chemical injection skids, wellhead control panels, and automation systems. ∙Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments ∙Monitor worker safety practices and promote adherence to environmental sustainability policies.
2. Sustainability and Greenhouse Gas Emissions Initiatives ∙Support action plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and align factory operations with corporate carbon footprint reduction goals. ∙Assist in implementing energy-saving measures and waste reduction programs to meet sustainability targets.
3. HSE in Project Support ∙Provide assistance during construction phases of projects, ensuring compliance with HSE ∙Coordinate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into day-to-day activities.
4. Training and Competency Development ∙Collaborate with the corporate training team to identify training needs through Training Need Analysis (TNA) for employees and contractors. ∙Plan and support the execution of training programs, ensuring timely delivery and documentation. Assist in developing training Plans for new employees ∙
5. ISO Compliance and Auditing ∙Assist in maintaining ISO certifications (9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018) by supporting internal audits and preparing documentation for external reviews. ∙Ensure audit findings are addressed with corrective actions to maintain compliance.
6. Contractor Management ∙Monitor and ensure contractors comply with Avanceon's HSE standards and requirements. ∙Conduct safety meetings and compliance reviews with contractors.
7. Incident Reporting and Investigation ∙Assist in reporting and investigating workplace incidents using root cause analysis techniques like Fault Tree Analysis and TapRoot. ∙Support the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
