Research Associate, Process Analytics

As a Research Associate, Process Analystics in Process Development, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced Scientists to identify and characterize protein biologics.
Previous hands-on experience in an analytical lab Experience in assay development is a plus Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This role is a full-time onsite position in our Costa Mesa, CA location. Days of work are Monday through Friday.
- Perform laboratory tasks to support the routine testing of protein therapeutics via protein characterization techniques.
- Demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following: ELISA, HPLC, CE, icIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE
- Document and organize methods and results according to current practices.
- Work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
- Provide regular updates to Process Development department and other functional teams as necessary.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in the Biological or Physical Sciences with 2+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles.
- Should have experience with at least one of the following: ELISA, Cell-Based Assays, HPLC, CE, icIEF, PCR, SDS-PAGE
- Ability to work independently to lead analytical testing initiatives for Process Development, managing project priorities, executing experiments, and communicating results effectively to cross functional stakeholders.
- Previous hands-on experience in an analytical lab
- Experience in assay development is a plus
