Your Role:   
The Sr. Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, equipment servicing, basic wiring and mechanical and HVAC maintenance and repair.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performs maintenance service and repairs in the area of plumbing, carpentry, painting, equipment servicing, basic wiring and mechanical and HVAC maintenance and repair.
  • Perform scheduling, PM's, repairs, and support utility.
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of utilities systems; WFI, RO/DI, Clean Steam Generator, Plant Steam Generator and Processed Air.
  • Familiar with variety of field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Make daily inspections of equipment and service, execute preventative maintenance and general work requests.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records to ensure cGMP compliance.
  • Perform “On Call” responsibilities, weekends and after hours
  • Maintain repair and preventative maintenance records.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment associated with maintenance work.
  • Troubleshoots and performs various repairs on utilities, laboratory instruments and equipment.
  • Confers with vendors, contractors, and other departments.
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to other nonexempt personnel.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and four to six years of experience in maintenance trades, and trade knowledge in a specialized field or process; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 
This role is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also, if instructed, have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
 
Compensation:  
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. 
 
The compensation range for this role is $31.15 - $38.94 hourly depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:  
In this dynamic role, expect a blend of regular activities like sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional physically engaging tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds. The work environment might expose you to electrical shocks, toxic chemicals, vibrations, or loud noise levels occasionally. Your visual acuity, including close, distance, and color vision, will be essential in navigating through the diverse day-to-day demands of this position.
