Your Role:
The Specialist, Quality Control will perform sample receipt for lot release, manage sample storage, coordinate outside testing, and assist with stability sample pulls. Analyst will support QC continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking up, logging in, aliquoting, sample storage, and preparing associated documentation (STWs and QC test forms) for the associated Avid QC laboratories
- Shipping samples to contract laboratories, including aliquoting, packaging, and preparation of associated sample submission forms, shipping documentation and associated purchase requisitions
- Filing/copying test reports and protocols, compiling report binders, documenting and labeling samples and completing submission forms/cover letters/purchase orders for contract testing
- Organizing and monitoring of storage units, LN2 fills of Dewer, Defrosting.
- Contribute to QCA Continuous Improvements projects.
- File/copy test reports and protocols, compile reports, document and label samples, complete submission forms/cover letters/purchase orders for contract testing labs.
- Inventory management and disposal.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree with 1 year experience in QC environment.
- BS in Chem/Bio or Science related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Experience with analytical testing and equipment, writing reports, procedures, GMP and GxP inspections will be favorable.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
Compensation:
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
The compensation range for this role is $32.30 - $40.38 hourly depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer opportunities for career growth and development as well as a supportive and inclusive work environment.
